You’re sure right there; the problem is the discipline to delete 99% of our email inbox.
Distracting new offers are the route cause for lack of focus. We need to move away from
being marketed to, to becoming our own marketers.
If you’re not marketing: You’re not earning!
- 90% of our efforts need to be on MARKETING off or online…

Hey Rod,
Really agree with you on the big distraction of emails. I used to be a real sucker for ‘the next big thing’. Now I have my personal email for regular contact people and a specific ‘list opt in’ email account which I’ll only check through once a week. Distractions over!

There are many ways to make money online. In response to your Google adsense comment this is only 1 way to monetize a blog and unless you have a lot of traffic you will only make peanuts.
Instead try monetizing your blog with adsense, and a few affiliate programs, as well as setting up an Email list. Aweber is the King….
The Email capture form should be your 1 concern on your blog. Everything else is just secondary, because as you have probably heard the money is in the list.

This is the part not often spoken about, and not easy to do.
How many times do you think a person signs up for the freebie and then unsubscribes.
In order for a list to work you have to be the reason someone subscribes. People buy from those who they “Know, like and TRUST…”
If this is lacking you are building a list in vain!
